Dave picked up the tricks and tools of the trade working with TNT in Heathrow and Paris. In 1983 he went to Texas to set up AmWorld, bridging a gap between UK and US.
In 1986 Dave took full responsibility for, and ownership of, the company. In 2008, Dave released some of his equity in AmWorld, offering 50% of the shares to his management team via an MBO.
