When an international software house
approached AmWorld, they were not just looking for a shipping company. Their
requirements were the storage, building of product, license and software
distribution. After initial
meetings the requirements were passed to our team of IT developers who
designed a separate database for housing all the
information required and linked it to the shipping systems used. This
provided data-mining facilities for the client, reports and
alerting systems were designed to allow the client to operate without huge
volumes of stock and move towards a JIT based model. Secure web based access
to the systems was also provided with multi-level security and the clients
identity placed on this site allowing integration into their own systems.
